An underused patio became the union's favorite room.
Union South's outdoor patio was short on seating and uncomfortable for events. Max-R's team visited campus, surveyed how students actually used the space, and built a site plan around it — high-top tables with bench seating, stools, and deep seating in a natural wood grain and two-tone palette matched to Union South's look.
Today it's a student favorite for meals and study groups, and a flexible, rentable venue for campus events.
